Based off the October 2023 report from St. Johns County, 56,416 homes (units) have been approved and are still remaining to be built. Out of this number, not all neighborhoods will build to capacity - but approximately 40,000 - 50,000 homes are still on their way.
I am not for raising taxes. My number one goal is to secure funding from the FDOT budget (approximately $12 billion each year). And St. Johns County is the fastest growing county in the state. Money from the state that can be applied to infrastructure (roads) will not only give immediate help, but will also free up funds by the County to use towards other infrastructure needs.
Below is the 14-page itemized list of homes approved, built, and yet to be built. It is broken down by DRIs (Development of Regional Impact) first and then by smaller PUDs (Planned Unit Development) based on the four quadrants of the county.
